I'M Sorry That I Hurt You Poem by Isabella Night

I'M Sorry That I Hurt You

Rating: 4.8

I'm sorry that I hurt you.
I simply don't know what to do.
How am I supposed to tell you everything?
You'd take away the reason of my being.

Everything would fall apart.
Now I don't know how to start.
I'm breaking...
My heart...aching...

You want to leave us, I get it.
Sad how pieces of paper make it legit.
Now you wonder if it's worth it all.
That blow sent me sprawling against a wall.

Poems, music, drawings...
These are what's left of my belongings.
I say this, sincere and true:
I'm sorry that I hurt you.

It is a very somber apology. Good writing.

An honest to goodness apology that one could only pray is worthy of accepting..... :)
