loving you from a far is a wonderful feeling
like coffee fumes, like shadows melting in moonlight
luminous clouds reflected on the the river
night rain slowly pouring in my heart


i learned to close my fingers
though compulsive at times i have decided to open them
conquering the cowardice hidden inside my palms
i have scattered my glimpses just to win you back
in the embrace of my loving arms

i learned to accept defeat
and then you cherish me with the calmness of your heart
your strong soul showed its cares
you have carried my emotional luggage

as the night fades away
as the high tides of the water subside
slowly my life too changes
now i am feeling great
it is you inside my heart that guides me
as i trust you from the beginning of my age

my heart has become one bottomless sea
the happy moments still stay in my mind
and from day to day i keep on loving you
