I May Have To Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I may have to wind up the stage show
That started not to very long ago
It has taken shown meaningful steps later
I have tried my level best to alter

So many people have come to my rescue
Helped in unprecedented way and proved true
They were not friends but real sympathizers
Real observer and well wishers too

How many might have helped me I really do not remember
But they stood by me as real ally and member
Whatever they did was selfless service
I had not given them any words of promise

I want to pay them back in gratitude
Not in kind but in words of positive attitude
I shall mention their names in my memory
Always pray for their well being to almighty

I think age is taking me over
Soon I may be loosing earthly cover
Wind may carry away ashes to far places
I shall them remain as an unknown face

I wish them all success
They must be helped in their chase
For fulfillment of goal and aim in life
I wish them happy journey sans strife
