I Miss Your Eyes Poem by Kateryna Polishchuk

I Miss Your Eyes

I had a lot of words in past
To say in silence with a tiny voice.
But each of us has made a private choice,
Without broken hearts and other noise,
So, now I try my mind to make trust.

I see the sky and spirits of the Space,
I hear melodies of all forgotten sounds,
I watch the Universe in lost and lonely mounds.
And, maybe, nobody remembers them or founds…
But my neck wears that unusual lace.

You are unknown, strange, restrained, kind
And have a little of your own fear.
You hide it in the masks you wear
And keep your thoughts just somewhere near
While trying own path find.

I have a lot, but each thing has a price
We pay for being on a way we are.
I go away and find my soul so far
With fakes, decisions making life or mar.
And I forget my heart… I miss your eyes…
