I Mourn Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

I Mourn

I mourn

In old days
We discussed
Liberty, freedom:
"We must learn
From the USA
And London,
France and the Europe,
To respect freedom
With logic, not pistol…"

I love and hate Trump
For peeing on people
That were loved,
Now hated…

Looking over shoulder
In times, I sympathise
With Yankees in fear,
And in times celebrate:
"They too are in deep shit! "

A woman was shot, dead
In their house of Nation.

Discomfort comes to me
When thinking of myself:
"No longer have symbol,
Role model…"

If again we discuss
Oppression, freedom,
Will have no premise
To talk of as reference!

Whom to say to look at?

I mourn the losing of
My symbol, role model
Yet I laugh, also thank
The Trump's selfishness
For peeing on US…
