I Must Never Be Alone; See Now Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

I Must Never Be Alone; See Now

Lately I'm strugglin' with rantings
No' that I'm good with spellings really
Words seem to have changed entirely
In pronounciation 'n meaning, I mean
Words're more nuanced now, how can they keep the same spelling
We used to have students, now they're learners
Studying 'n learning; see what I mean
To think that culture comes from cult
Maybe thinking isn't the right thing to do
For thinking's tangent to the general politics
Gullibility 'n callousness're congruent in politics
Like I said, I'm not good with spellings
How can I be good with meanings of words then
For words keep mutating in meaning
