I Need Sleep



I need sleep
Long and eternal
To keep myself in peace
I need my bed
Of night and darkness
Not to see the sun again

I need sleep
Not to wake up
Not to smell the fragrance
Of morning flowers
Like life
They are transient

I need sleep
Fast and deep
In the shade of love
Watching the star filled sky
Wishing to reach them soon
