I need, I need
Some poetry, tonight
And for that matter
Almost, every night
To calm the need
The empty speed
Of space
Of Life,
So harmful,
When alone
Without
That flowing grace
Of love and light.
I need some
Poetry, tonight
Its luminosity
And loving flight,
Its dreams, ideal
Of love and light
The calming tears,
The blessings
That it brings
Into life's
Lonely, scary
Nights.
