I don’t wanna be on the floor
In a crowd of lonely souls
Wondering how I got so high
And when I’ll ever get low

I never wanna hear the songs
That made me us love and true
Cause even when the dance is over
I just end up feeling blue

Oh why, did I ever go
Scab my knees in the streets
Just to get some satisfaction
For my psyche, oh so weak
