I Rise Chasing Poetic Threads
sometimes I wake rise
with hopeful expectations
on chance rare occasions
maybe great expectations
with longing deep in heart
with creativity deep in heart
believing in felt promise
a new poetic day brings
in happiness sadness or joy
there is a peace in expectation waking
looking forward to the promise
of dawning a new poetic day
following often unexpected threads
in a tapestry of creative craft

Every mind is blessed with its own loom, ceaselessly making its own fabric of thought. Poets are doubly blessed by waking up full of eagerness, to bring that gossamer to light and rework it for our sight.
I wrote the poem 'In Life All Loom A Tapestry Of Thoughts', dedicated to the poet Denis Mair; inspired by the above comment made by the poet Denis Mair on my poem, 'I Rise Chasing Poetic Threads'.
