I Say What I Have To Say Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Say What I Have To Say

I fervently say
What I have to convey
A different way.
I try to fight
The right fight
With my God given's might.
I protest
As a test
Against the pest.
I am my own man.
By no one
I cannot be pawned
I cannot be brought.
I have been taught
By great men who fought
And defeated bad ideas.
Some of them do not eat peas
‘Cause they hate being teased.
I bravely say
What I have to say
A different way
My humble way
I zealously pray
That I won't be a prey
On a jerk's tray.
