I Searched For Him Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Searched For Him

Rating: 5.0

I searched for Him
But found only rays and beam
No shape, nothing but only fire
I had to bow my head and admire

There was something unknown power that guided universe
Was it divine, imagery or only in verses?
We have simply followed which is in religious books
No one answers clearly and no one can say it is cooked too

Yes it is fact that some one is driving us
May be belief, allegiance, or trust
Someone who is not on ground but above earth
Decides our destiny and takes us away after death

For a second if we take death as no threat
What can happen if human being is made immortal?
I fear chaos, plunder and loot everywhere
Even small kid will raise an arm and dare

Yes, we are feared of only one power
We all call him as almighty and ultimate savior
Offer as much as possible while bowing head
But fail to recognize his might and refuse to read

I find joy while offering small peace of bread
To a beggar or to an animal that actually needs
Did we ever notice gratefulness on their part and read?
Animal might have shaken tail and man with head

So futile search ended here with no more quests
All doubts, apprehensions and fears naturally rested
There is no eagerness now as to who is our master
Man can only be responsible as master blaster

This is a good poem. I like your writing, for I can see your doubt. I understand your questions, and it is very good. Keep on writing, for you are doing a good job.
