I see a girl in the window,
Staring at me,
I could tell something was wrong,
But what could it be.
I see a boy on the pavement,
Looking at me,
Why oh why,
Couldn't I be that Free.

Emily...are you then staring at your own reflection in the window Emily? I sense a longing for freedom here...but what kind of freedom? Another wonderful piece by such a young, yet wise poet... Hugs, Dee
I like this one. Very to the point but very moving as well. A reflection in glass is my interpretation, and the boy someone she prefers to another. I may be totally wrong in my assumption, but if so I apologise. A lot involved in this short poem. Love Ernestine XXX

Emily, this is as beautiful and well-written as it is thought-provoking. t x
