I see life in the wings of birds
And hope in the smile of flowers
I see beauty in the humming of bees
In the flitting butterflies over the bowers

I see life in pearly raindrops
In their glow as they fall down
And beauty in the morning dew as
They shine on grasses like little crowns

I see life in the silver clouds
Beauty in the cerulean blue sky
I sing for the sweetness of streams
And for comely village girls feeling shy
