I Shall Sing Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Shall Sing

Think of own brethren!
With lots of concern
No outsider shall come
You wake up and welcome

Do not create rift
Make no shift
Country should be united
The flag should be honorably raised

Keep the leaders away
If they drag the feet and remain away
Give them no chance to enter fray
Let decisive role be played

Do not shed own blood
Provide food
To needy
And pray to almighty

The new chapter may be opened
The sun may again be shined
Youth can lead the torch
Make it as formidable force

I shall sing
The day you are breaking ring
Of slavery and coming out
After successively being fought
