It's hazy today
Moisture in the air
Hugging the atmosphere
Sun is hiding
Behind the array of white-grey plush
As I sit and wonder
-My mind a floating river
My heart protected
Behind my rib cage
In a constant slow beat
Takes me places
Where music is made
Of dreams
I wonder how the sun feels today
Not having a direct contact
With the earth
Not being able to give
Its potent heat
To make the soil dry
The grass golden
To make us sweat
And our skin red
I will sit here
And wonder some more
About all that is passing me by
Of all the thoughts, feelings played
Somewhere in a distance
Behind the veil.
What eyes will see
What hearts will feel
What words will be spoken
-I sit and wonder.

I love this poem. If one cannot wonder at the living glory around one, then one cannot be a poet. Did not Wordsworth wonder and wander? Well done. Mohabeer Beeharry Read my poems sometimes and comment. Thank you.
