I Still Remember Poem by Kasia Fedyk

I Still Remember

Rating: 2.8

Every day I try to recollect
the times I have spent
with Our Father in His presence
I still dwell there
every moment

He told me to go
and be here
I did not want to
it is the only part
I remember

He looked at me
and smiled
His smile was love
all Our father did was love
and He told me
I have to experience
and my choice is the life
I live today, the roads I take
the steps I make
see, I did not know
I was the one to choose it
I chose it
this is it
my soul needed to grow
what I have is a gift
to see, to feel, to taste,
to smell, to embrace,
to Love, Love

I remember
the times where angels
where the only ones
that you have spent time with
holding their hands
and learning
lessons of love

What is true love?
-they use to ask me
I could only smile
I thought they were teasing me
of course I knew
I was in heaven
they are asking me now
while I am here

Can we take a piece
of heaven with us
and make it
on earth?

Love
