I Stand Accused Too, Brother Hayes Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Stand Accused Too, Brother Hayes

Rating: 5.0

I stand accused of loving too many flowers
I stand accused of spreading too many seeds
I stand accused of seeking too many lovers
I stand accused of having too many needs
I plead absolutely not guilty to the litany of charges
‘Cause I love handing flowers to many women
And with all my heart, I enjoy blowing kisses
And sending chocolate to my devoted fans
I plead not guilty because I am a good man
Under the colorful rainbow in the sky, no one
Is perfect.I was born to love with all my guts
The singing roosters, the gulls, and the parrots
I stand accused, and I plead guilty on the charges
Of loving too much to many gorgeous creatures
I stand accused; I stand accused too, Brother Hayes.

You stand accused of being a poet And very outstanding one too, Loving words and thoughts Having a myriad of sentiments, That most uncaring humans Are not lucky enough to feel thru. I love this poem where the real joie de vivre, is so beautifully presented. A true joy to read over and over again!

Loving too many flowers is definitely interesting. But who accuse you? We hope flowers admire your effort. An amazing poem is shared here.10
