I Stand Against Injustice Poem by Randy McClave

I Stand Against Injustice

If you don't like abortion, then just don't have one
I have heard people state and scream that on and on,
If a woman gets pregnant is it her own fault
I guess she could have easily and always screamed halt.

I don't believe in war, so should I avoid the draft
Then would our army be understaffed,
I also don't believe in murder, so I do not own a gun
But, murders happens daily underneath God, and the sun.
I never liked slavery, and my family never owned slaves
But, for their freedom around the world there are many graves,
I have never raped a woman, as I do not believe in rape
But, from that horror many women could not escape.
I do not believe in child abuse, a child I could not abuse
But, children are still hurt, their childhood they then lose,
I do not believe in starvation, I believe that no one should go hungry
Especially here in America, our own proud, great country.

When someone ever stands against another human's right
I am ready to argue, and just one foot away from a fight,
If people in white robes, or fancy suits says to me, "trust us! "
I will tell them as I tell everyone, I stand against all injustice.
