I Swear To Be Silent Poem by Airda Jones

I Swear To Be Silent

I take a vow of silence
For I am hidden from truth
Truth that these men define,
Not why the words were created.
Stumbling through a stupor
Of uncontrollable criticisms, lost
But still holding ground, No man
Will ever shake my territory Nor
Will any of these opponents claim
My ink as their official tattoo
All they have earned is the dirt,
The same dirt I tread upon just
Like the same freedom I live by.
