Why is it never enough
And why can't I just stop
Take my mind off of him
'Cause I already forgot

The cold, cold shoulder
He uses as a shield
And the angry stare
That can't be how he feels

Every word that
Comes out is ignored
While he walks away I
Want to chase him even more

And I know that
Someday he will realize
That even though he has many others
I was the one there all the time

If I believe that
Than why this doubt
Why am I never enough
Why does he shut me out?
