I tried to say goodbye
I tried to die
I found the weight of life
Pilled too high
The gravity of it all
Pushing down on my soul
Till I, could take no more
I shut out all others
And drowned in liquor
I swallowed each pill
If only to bring the end
That little bit quicker
My pain and sorrow
My loss and despair
I was found like that
In such a way
None would recognise me
I tried to say goodbye
She wold not let me
