I understand your pain;
I've partaken of your loss;
Though I could have had great gain,
I but chose an ugly cross.
My life was filled with grief;
Disappointment followed me;
But I never sought relief
From the shame that had to be.
Yielding to my Father's plan
To reveal His love for all,
I took death for every man,
Paying for the sinner's fall.
I knelt down to bind the wound
Dealt by Satan on the world.
'Twas resentment that I found;
Stones against my breast were hurled.
In rejection, I loved on;
Though despised, I trusted yet.
Though I suffered all alone,
My prize I dared not to forfeit.
For to walk with you today,
Hold you up to bear my name,
Lead you in my Father's way,
Is the reason that I came.
Dear Jean, Messages of unchanging/eternal importance - penetrating insights elucidated masterfully. God bless you...
Where would we be in life without hope and faith, to make the choice between right and wrong is sometimes so dificult, forgivenessis hardto give and receive.Good write10 Chris
