In Prayer Poem by Jean Mallette

In Prayer

Rating: 5.0

He closed his eyes to pray
As pain seemed far away
For when the darkness touched his eyes,
His soul began to rise.

The exercise of prayers
Was therapy to cares;
His words to God out-voiced his woes
And peace, his spirit chose.

Prayer connects us to the source of all tranquility and peace of mind - God. Much prayer much peace less prayer less peace.
