I've Worked With

I've worked with some amazing people
And God has blessed them so
They can visualize the end result
Of a project on the go
Me I have my limitations
I wasn't blessed like that
And I'm not jealous of them either
And that's an honest fact

I'm just as pleased as they are
At the end result
The reward of their imagination
Good as all get out
I've tried to help them sometimes
By offering my two bits
But no they were none accepting
They would have none of it

You see they were master craftsmen
I in the learner stage
They had done so many projects
To them my suggestions seemed pure outrage
So I learned to keep my silence
And watch each project unfold
And to be an obedient helper
Doing just as I was told

Sometimes we think we know it all
When we really know so little
And life has its learning lessons
Which we're wise not to belittle
So bunker down in learning mode
You'! ll be the wiser faster
Humble yourself in the sight of God
And seek to know the Master!
