I've Wrestled
I've wrestled with sin a time or two
And it took me to the mat
I had not submitted myself to God
And the devil knocked me flat
I was almost down for the count of three
But then I came to my senses
And realized the battle was spiritual
On my own I was defenseless
Swiftly I cried out to the Lord
Father I need You now
The Holy Spirit became my strength
And His power filled me somehow
I had forgotten that twenty four seven
He watches over me
And is always ready to come to my aid
And give me the victory
Now when that roaring lion comes around
Seeking whom he may devour
I resurrect the awesomeness of
My God has all the power
And greater is He that's within me
Than he that is in the world
When I submit to God and resist the devil
The Lord gives him a hurl!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
