I Waited Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

I Waited

I had the strongest desire
To see it,
So I waited,
Long time elapsed,
Still it did not come,
They advised me to give up,
But I did not listen,
I waited and waited
With great patience and perseverance,
Gradually dark night appeared,
Being tired and exhausted, I fell deep asleep,
Then in my sweet dream
I saw a lovely thing,
"Who are you? "I asked it,
"I am the reflection, "it answered gently,
I was completely stunned,
As I honestly felt in my great vision if the image was so beautiful,
How much beautiful the real thing would be.
