I Wanna Forget Her.... Poem by M Sagnik Das

I want to run, I want to hide
From all the pain she caused inside.
I want to scream, I want to cry.
Why can't I tell her goodbye?

I want to move on, I just can't let her go though.
I love her more than she will ever know.
I want to start over, I want to feel free!
But this pain will never leave me be.

My mind overflows with memories of her,
Of all that we've chatted, all that I knew.
I long for look in her eyes, the smile on her face.
And her warm comfort which I got when i failed to be selected in the cricket team.

How can I forget her, leave her behind.
Erase the memories from my mind.
She doesn't love me, and may be she never will.
She will never care how I feel.
