I Watched You Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

I Watched You

Watching you in the field
I came dancing from the room
I forgot the day's chores
In heart flower of love did bloom

Watching you bend down
To pick seeds from the grasses
I jumped in glee into air
Getting fragrance from long tresses

Watching your soft smile
As butterflies hovered around
I could not stand still as
They fell one by one to the ground

Watching you walking down
To the river with a leisurely pace
I followed to watch you
Take bath with your womanly grace

Watching you fresh as a bud
Emerging from water as a goddess
I thanked God to wake me up
And to be with you fulfilling my wishes
