I Will Adore
if wanting you
gave godspeed to pigs
i would want you.
you say, and beggars would ride
all the more reason that I should want you.
if all the proverbs conspired
to hold a mirror to my schmuck
i would look it in the eye
with a smile on my lips
and say, I adore.
i adore i adore i adore
there, do what you can
and if the twinge in the heart should grow, i will adore evermore.
