I Will Not Be There Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

I Will Not Be There

Rating: 5.0

I don't know if my
Walk will be short or long
Whether at the end
Of my journey I will remain strong

I don't know what
Surprises are waiting for me
To face during the day
What ups and downs I have to see

I don't know if
I will wake up to a new sun
If a cool wind will
Blow for me with a fresh dawn

This much I know
I am going to live in the present
Enjoying my pain
And joy and leave nothing to resent

I will not stay forever
Here, someday I will close my eyes
I hope He will there
Waiting for me as I bid all good bye
