I Will Not Help You Ever Again Poem by Randy McClave

I Will Not Help You Ever Again

You might come crawling on your knees
With your begging and your please,
But, I will not forget from way back when
That's why I will not help you, ever again.

You have used me and then you lied
While trying to add an attachment to my pride,
You needed and wanted my help
Before a wolf, you were that whimpering welp.

You always gave me your trusted word
I now think about that, how stupid and absurd,
Your word is like that of a forgotten fling
To me, it now means nothing.

There was that once upon a time
That I would, and had given you my very last dime,
Knowing then that it was a good choice
To which my soul did rejoice.

The only time now that you contact me
It is when you want some help, or more money,
But, now you don't call me anymore
Maybe you have realized, that you have made me poor.

Every night for you I still and will always say a prayer
I love you more than anything, you are my heir,
But, the life that I slaved for, I now cannot live
Because I have nothing left to hold or give.

Happily you took my very last dollar bill
Which made me soulfully sad, and very ill,
You then begged and took my last piece of copper
Now I most likely will die as a pauper.

In the restaurant your steak is being carved
I am worried, and starved,
And while my bank is preparing to foreclose
You go out and buy yourself brand new clothes.

Now seemingly for me you do not care at all
With my sadness and my despair, or my fall,
I still think about where you are, and where I have been
I will not help you ever again.
