I Will Rise - Poem by Nasiphi Poetress Dlangudlangu

I may be weak
I may be drained
I might have fallen, but it is not over
I will rise again.

I may be lying on the dust
People may be laughing at me, but soon I'll have a last laugh.
As usual, I will bounce back
And I will rise again.

My enemy do not party over this short moment,
Be not so fast to conclude over my life,
I might have fallen, but I will rise
I may seem hopeless but am hopeful
I may seem defeated but am still fighting
I may not be able to stand but am crawling,
Crawling until I can stand on my feet.

I may be weak
I may be drained
I might have fallen, but it is not over
As I always do, I will rise again.
Yes! I will rise again.

A motivational piece of poetry that depicts power of positive thinking, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. Faith keeps those that keep the faith - Mother Teresa. Thanks for sharing Nasiphi. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply
