why this pain and suffering
i wish it would stop
when will it stop
someone plz tell me
i wish i had someone to jold me tight like theres no other night
i wish is all i can do
i wish i could do more
i want to help more
i want to be loved more
its always i want and i wish
when is this going to come true
i miss my happy life
i have no clue wat happen to it
somwone must have stolen it
or stab it dead
squished it with their foot
wateva happen its gone
one day i'll find it
i just wish my pain would stop

The paradox is that you hurt just the same when you turned away. Just took care of your own feelings as best as you could, and aside from dealing with your loss, you took in your hurt, that which pained you the most, for you knew that you did not want to part.
