I Wish I Understood Better Poem by Marilyn Jean

I Wish I Understood Better

I was almost cross
Or maybe deeply sad
Things you don't tell
Probably to protect me
Or make things nice
Then I go there and see
And Again and again
All jumps back at me
The work in the cupboard
The long days alone
Not talked to by anyone
You exploiting my misery
My despair for a gentle lover
I wish I understood better
And did not spent 2 years mad
Dreaming of you tormented me
But I could not tell you
When I tried it was worst
I always discover things
I regret this silly thing
Sending a Valentine
Feeling tired of this love
Sticking to me everyday
Unwanted, unbearable
