I Wish I Was In California Poem by Juan Olivarez

I Wish I Was In California

Rating: 5.0

It's raining again,
It's so dreary and cold.
In my soul There is pain,
I have no one to hold.
I wish I was in California.

There is no sunshine anymore,
Only dark grey clouds up high.
Chilling me to my very core,
It's cold in my soul I won't deny.
I wish I was in California.

I wish I was in California,
Where the sun shines every day.
And the rain is just a memory,
Maybe I'll go back and stay.
I want to be in California.
