That all todays would stay away.
I wish tomorrows never came,
Just let things stay the same.
I wish all clocks ran backward,
And took us back in time.
Space and time in reverse we'd ford,
To better days and climes.
Just one more chance to try again,
Avoiding all pitfalls.
Avoiding misery and pain,
And miss the storms and squalls.
But then again, thats just a dream,
Not what you'd call a life.
There must be dullness, before the gleam perhaps, a bit of strife.
In some ways yes, but in other ways no. Thought- provoking write Juan, and very good too.

I've often wondered, if we could and did go back and change our mistakes, would it somehow lessen us, or teach us a lesson. Either way, I always enjoy your poems, yesterday, today and tomorrow!
