I Wish You Love, My Dear Poem by David Harris

I Wish You Love, My Dear

Rating: 4.5

Partings are always sad
having to let love go,
but it happens as we grow
and you see love walk away.
The only thing we can do
hard as it seems
is to say very softly
I wish you love, my dear.

The roads we travel
are paved with heartaches
an inevitably in loves game.
Many feel the sadness
as love goes away.
However, we have to be realistic
through our falling tears
and wish them love as they go.

When love goes away
it is what is meant to be,
certainly there will be hurting
when it goes away,
but best we walk tall
though our heart is breaking
saying very softly
I wish you love, my dear.
