is not the truth. That lies below,
corruption and chicanery
exist but are not meant to show.
If you can fake sincerity
then you are just the man we want.
Improve our popularity
with your own brand of pious cant.
You portray honesty so well
the general public may accept.
The half truths and the lies you tell.
Your presentation is perfect.
It comes to me as no surprise
that politicians all tell lies.
