If All That I Said Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

If All That I Said

If all that I said
Has scared you away
Then losing your friendship
Was too priceless to pay.
I needed some direction
To carry me away
From this hole I was stuck in
So, I had my say.
But if all that I said
Was too much for today
Perhaps there'll come tomorrow
When you'll forgive my way
Of telling you I cared
A truth, if I may.
It was a surprize and delight
And that's where it will lay.
Please listen carefully
It's really okay
Because losing your friendship
Is too priceless to pay.
