If, by some celestial grace, I chance to see my Love
In the quiet sanctuary of a dream, face to face,
I shall unfold the story of my heart, tender point by point,
Each word a brushstroke painting the portrait of devotion.
For though no veil divides us in truth,
In love, I let myself believe in two—
So that I may trace the weight of longing in his gaze,
A silent dialogue where every glance speaks volumes.
I shall gather the echoes of secrets left unspoken,
Whispers of desires lingering on the edge of lips,
And weave them into melodies only the heart can hear,
A symphony too vast for mortal tongues.
My silence before him shall unveil the burdens I dare not name,
The fears, the hopes, the dreams that time has weathered—
Yet in the hush between us, where breath meets breath,
The illusion dissolves, and I know: I have always been with him.
For love leaves its fingerprints on the soul's fragile glass,
Imprints of joy, of sorrow, of moments shared and missed.
Yet even in the flicker of shadow and light,
We are not apart—we never were.
Still, I cherish the dream where I see him as other,
Where longing is a gift that lets love take form,
For what is devotion but the sweet play of two
Upon the stage of the One?
And as the dream fades, as dawn breaks the spell,
I shall carry the memory of that encounter like a sacred relic,
Not as a loss, but as a whisper of what has always been—
A love that neither time nor form can bind,
A love that is, was, and will always be,
Even beyond the dreaming.
