If I Were To Say Poem by Matthew Holloway

If I Were To Say

Rating: 5.0

If I were to tell you I loved you
Would you run away, seek to hide
If I were to promise my heart and soul
Would you accept such an offer
Or find suspicion within it
If I were to say those words
That friends, lovers, family speak
What judgement would you cast
If I were to tell you this is me
And show all that I am
Would you stand or run
If I were to tell you I love you
What would you say to me
