If Life Were But A Blank Page Poem by Paul Seay

If Life Were But A Blank Page

Rating: 5.0

Fulfilling what's vacant within
As life were but a blank page
With words truly a friend
If some I could only erase
Tears no longer to surface
Then smiles would shortly pond
Happiness to embrace
If the pen were my wand
Magic spelled in every line
Casting sleep to what was said
Jotting down a present divine
Awaking from worry's bed
Righteous is the way I'd command
From the soul, to paper and hand
