If not for my eyes
Would I see only light
Would I wake to sunlight
And thank God for night

If not for my ears
Would I hear only music
Would I wake up not so sick
And thank God for the kick

If not for my nose
Would I smell only rose
Would I wake up to prose
And thank God that I arose

If not for my mouth
Would I taste only sweetness
Would I wake to loveliness
Thank God for creativeness

If not for my hands
Would I touch only love
Would I wake to The Dove
Thank God for The Above

If not for my life
Would I breathe only peace
Would I wake for war to cease
