If Only Poem by Gary Hembree

If Only

Fields of green
In different shades
Stuck in place
With no shame
I scare them away
Even if my head
Isnt held high
I have dreams one day
To free my mind
Oh wait
I dont have a brain
If only if only
I had a brain
Yours truely
Scarecrow
