If Only I Had Asked ('could I Walk You Home? ') Poem by james watkin

If Only I Had Asked ('could I Walk You Home? ')

Rating: 5.0

Two domains of Time, and this
Severing curtain of tears...
Regret's 'if only', helps none
That by wish so wills it done!
Stepping back through changed years!

Which awkwardness waylayed both
Though apart, agog had sat
To have them now dare, and prance
With hands, grasping at love's chance
Daydreams allow just that!
