If Only I Was Bold Poem by ObiGod Chidi CC

If Only I Was Bold

Rating: 5.0

I admired a flower
And another plucked it
I wished to have a diamond
Another bought it first.
I salivated for a honey
I was beaten to its feast
I loved a pretty woman
A lucky man married her.

Shame to my mute tongue
Pain in my shy heart
My cold feet shed hot tears.
I blame not luck
He is innocent of my plight
If only I was bold
I'd have a reward for my risk.
My gut will get me the glory.

A situation many has been. Just when you need the courage to make the move, it fails you and you postpone for another time until the opportunity is lost and your just feel sad. Beautifully narrated...10.

Let me just differ being bold is asking others to side track as the only winners I have known are those who remain silent they speak no ill the fight for no WILL but SILENTLY USURP IT ALL as you alone GAPE and stand still If you want to WIN JUST SHUT THE F 'UP
