If Only You Knew
I tried so hard to make you happy
I never told you that you were the reason why I was sad,
I never wanted to make you feel bad
I wish you could see
just how much you mean to me,
but you ran from everything
and left me standing there second guessing
Didn’t you think I was scared too?
But I would have done anything for you
What I would have done to spend a moment with you
I wish you knew what I have been through,
but I cannot bring myself to let you know
it doesn’t seem right to do so
So I will accept this,
because I have no choice
It is not what I choose,
but there is no longer anything left for me to loose

I tried so hard to make you happy? Any man in his right mind would be forever blissful just being in the presence of anyone that can write such beautiful thoughts. Your Anam Cara is yet to be found.
I feel the pain depicted on this poem. I feel bad that the one you love and the one you cannot afford to loose will also be the one to make your heart bleed!
