If Tomorrow Never Comes... Poem by Richard Wlodarski

If Tomorrow Never Comes...

Rating: 4.2

If tomorrow never comes...
If I draw my last breath
Without seeing the sun rise
Giving birth to a new day...
If the light in your spirit
Has dimmed searching for new life...
If darkness pervades light...
And coldness melts the warmth...
Will night yield to day?

If tomorrow never comes...
If I die and am reborn
Will I see you again?
Will I see the light
Where once there was darkness?
Will I see the love in your eyes
And fall in love all over again?

Beautiful work, the kind of love expressed transcends the physical for something more divine. To have and to hold and then lose to hold again. That's the essence of true love.
