If Wishes Had Wings Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

If Wishes Had Wings

Rating: 5.0

If wishes had wings
We could become kings
Tame the lions in circus ring
Like cuckoo we too could sing

Alas! If dead can return
To prove his life in turn
Whole life he did nothing
Now wish it happen for something

Not bad at all if you genuinely wish
Swim in water freely without fear as fish
The net will be ready for you to be caught
The wish may not materialize as has been sought

What can happen even if we wish it to?
Simple life is in our and it is almost true
No one may force you to change the course
Yet to do nothing is our helplessness of course

It is better to be visionary
Than to think of thing illusory
It may do no good but make you to feel sorry
Add tension and reduce no amount worry
